Public Affairs Guide 2009
Published March 2009
The Holyrood Public Affairs Guide is firmly established as Scotland’s only directory of policy, public affairs and corporate communications professionals.
The Holyrood Public Affairs Guide was first published in 2003 to coincide with the second Scottish Parliamentary elections. Since then it has proven to be an indispensable reference work for MPs, MSPs, Scottish Government and Local Government officials to source information on organisations committed to their areas of interest.
''The Public Affairs Guide is an excellent networking tool that provides both information and generates interest in the work of your organisation. This was reflected by an increase in the number of phone calls I received from partners and others interested in discussing our work’’
The new political landscape
This is the first time your organisation has had to deal with a complete overhaul of administration in Scotland.
- In the Scottish Parliament we now have the SNP in power for the first time and 38 new MSPs.
- The new Scottish Government has been restructured into new Cabinet Secretariats with new Ministerial portfolios.
- Scotland is experiencing power sharing in all but two Local Authorities and have no less than 488 newly elected local councillors.
Your organisation now faces the challenge of how to deal with this sea change in Scottish public administration. More importantly how do you stay one step ahead of the many organisations vying for the attention of these all important new audiences. The Holyrood 2008 Public affairs Guide offers our commercial partners unrivalled coverage of decision makers in all public sector institutions.
The Holyrood 2009 Public Affairs Guide offers advertisers and sponsors unrivalled access to decision makers at all levels of administration in Scotland.
